Aso Cement incorporates an Individual Development Plan (IDP), a tool which helps to facilitate employee development. It's a two-way commitment between an employee and their manager on how to grow professionally. With short, medium and long-term talent development targets, employees choose the most appropriate training methods from various options and take on learning opportunities, which are offered through both internal and external programs.

Technical workshopsExcellent technical training programs have been developed in many categories by level, including cement production, quality control, and maintenance, based on experience and data accumulated within Lafarge that has business in 64 countries worldwide. These training workshops are held in offices all over the world by experienced engineers as instructors. Employees have an opportunity to participate in these training workshops held in Japan and overseas to nurture their skills and knowledge required for their position in the company.
